Honey please, I love you, don’t do it. And here’s why:
I understand piercings are personal. It’s the “it’s my body, I can do what I want, fuck everyone else because this is what I like not what they like” mentality, so I understand I don’t have much power over your decision and I’ll support you in whichever way you decide to go in (even if that sounds completely hypocritical now), but in your last post you did ask for an opinion and even though I’ve already expressed this I’ll say it again;
Out of a septum and Monroe it is my honest and full-hearted opinion that, gurl, you would look much more damn fine in a Monroe.
Yes I’m risking you being angry at me for this but, again, I love you. I understand you’re going to be a cosmetologist and they don’t much care about piercings. This isn’t coming from a holier-than-thou standpoint, if only because I have a tattoo on my forearm that kind of fucks me over despite wanting to be an artist. This is coming from a few points;
One, I’m worried you won’t like it later down the road. Two, flesh and cartilage are much more difficult, and far more expensive for that matter, to fix than hair is. I doubt letting a septum heal on its own would be like letting an ear piercing close up. And three, despite your profession, the people out side of it, mainly your potential clients, will judge you for it. And even though it’s a stereotype, people would find it easier to approach to you with a Monroe rather than with a septum. Now that’s a shitty thing to think/say/do, because you’re sassy and fantastic and it shouldn’t matter in the least, but it’s unfortunately true.
I’m not even sure if you read all this, but I do love you. I wouldn’t have wrote you this much if I didn’t. Get this piercing, don’t get this piercing; it’s your choice and I will support you in whatever you do. I just believe this is a much better explanation for what I feel regarding this then what I told you in person. And I still think you’d look way better with a Monroe. Anyway.

So this is an extra SPECIAL tea give away, and there will be THREE winners. Oh my god. Want a chance to become one of those lucky three people? Read on and follow directions.
